MPS Sensor
Parking Lot Status Monitoring and Detection
DESCRIPTION
The MPS sensor is a parking space detector that monitors two locations simultaneously. The sensor detects the occupancy state thanks to a LiDAR distance measurement and sends its state to the server directly by the gateway or via other sensors thanks to a wireless mesh communication network, depending on the chosen network topology (star or mesh).
Each sensor is equipped with an LED occupancy light to indicate whether one of the two parking spaces is available.
It is available in many installation configurations to adapt to different physical integrations (curbside parking in streets on urban furniture, multistorey parking or parking lots, on walls or ceiling).
With Spatium IoT platform, it can be used as a stand-alone parking management system. The MPS sensor can also be integrated into an existing management system.
EASY & FAST INSTALLATION
- Quick, simple and economical commissioning thanks to our mobile app compatible with our Spatium or Dimonoff | SCMS IoT platforms, which also allows instant functional tests and geolocation
- No electrical installation required : powered with two (2) replaceable Li-Ion battery
COMMUNICATION OPTIONS
- BluetoothTM 5.0 long range
- LoRa
CONFIGURATIONS
Interior
For multi-storey parking lots or other parking lots.
Can be installed on the ceiling (or also on the wall)
Exterior
For curb-side parking or private outdoor parking lots.
Installs in street furniture, such as parking bollards
BENEFITS
It is estimated that during busy days, at least 10% of shopping center customers turn around once on site due to a lack of information on parking availability and to the excessive parking search time. Likewise, the extended time that a driver searches for parking spaces increase his stress, decrease his attention, increase the risk of accidents and therefore annihilate the user’s experience and satisfaction.
Getting better data and a smart management with data analysis made by our Spatium data analytics platform will overall give you and your customers better information for a better driving experience and better investment opportunities.
MAIN CAPABILITIES
- Offer quality information about parking use to assist decision-making and planning
- Reduce time for parking search, reduce urban traffic and improve the customer experience
- Available form factors allow use in multideck parking lots and curbside parking spaces
- Wireless connectivity and battery power allow for quick and inexpensive commissioning
