This young innovative company brought to market a household device capable of easily and quickly transforming food waste into a rich and natural fertilizer. They required our expertise to create a connected version of their product.
Our engineering team worked on several aspects including the development of a mobile application, the modification of the electronic board and the development of a cloud-based solution.
IoT Development of Components & Services
- Embedded electronics modified to integrate wireless connectivity, so the device could connect to the user’s Wi-Fi network
- Over the air Updates (OTA) mechanism to update the ESP32 chipset and STM32 microcontroller firmware
- Firmware developed to manage cloud communications and to control the device
- Cloud-based solution to enable communication, data storage, push events, notifications, but also search, live tracking, etc.
