We are excited to announce our participation in the Smart Cities Connect Spring 2025 Conference & Expo, taking place from April 14-16, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. As one of the premier events dedicated to smart city innovation, this conference will bring together municipal leaders, industry experts, and technology providers to discuss the latest advancements in urban infrastructure.
Meet Dimonoff’s Team at Booth #219
Dimonoff will be exhibiting at booth #219, where our team will showcase our Smart Lighting Management System and Smart Parking Management System solutions that help cities save costs on energy efficiency and maintenance by providing a real-time monitoring solution for their public infrastructure.
Smart Lighting Transformation in Pittsburgh
Dimonoff is proud to be partnering with the City of Pittsburgh, PA, on a groundbreaking smart lighting project launching in early 2025. This large-scale initiative involves converting 37,000 High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) streetlights into energy-efficient LED fixtures, all controlled through Dimonoff | SCMS (Smart City Management System).
Key benefits of this project include:
- Dynamic dimming technology to optimize energy use based on real-time conditions.
- Automated maintenance alerts to improve response times and reduce operational costs.
- Significant cost savings through enhanced energy efficiency and proactive maintenance.
Laval’s Smart City Expansion: Street Lighting & Dynamic Traffic Signage
In 2021, Laval modernized its street lighting infrastructure by converting 37,000 traditional luminaires into energy-efficient LED fixtures. Through the Dimonoff | SCMS platform, the city benefits from:
- Remote lighting adjustments to optimize energy use and minimize waste.
- Real-time failure detection for faster maintenance response.
- Operational savings exceeding $2.75 million annually, along with a reduction of 10,607 tonnes of CO₂ emissions—equivalent to an energy saving of 15 million kWh.
Dynamic Traffic Signage for a Smarter City
Expanding its smart city initiatives, Laval introduced an advanced dynamic traffic signage system to manage on-street parking more efficiently. These connected LED traffic signs, developed in partnership with Trafic Innovation, provide real-time information on parking restrictions and maintenance schedules, particularly during snow removal and seasonal operations.
This initiative enhances parking management, reduces unnecessary infractions and towing incidents, and improves overall traffic flow. At our booth #219, we will be showcasing Trafic Innovation’s dynamic LED parking sign, an integral component of this connected signage solution.
