Smart Lighting Node Use Cases for Cities
The smart wireless lighting node RME-H3 controls the city lights, but is also helpful to monitor the consumption of each light, to report problems like outages and other issues with the fixture.
It also allows for let’s say emergency services to control lights to identify an evacuation zone if there’s a gas leak or a crazy shooter. It also allows to flash a light in front of a building where a 911 call came from.
Another advantage is creating a network for other sensors. Such as river levels, sewer levels, parking stalls occupancy. But also a set of sensors that will appear in the future, that we don’t even know today.
